The American Equipment story began back in 1980 when our parent company, Villager Construction Inc was struggling to find quality used equipment for paving, pipeline and road milling work across the Eastern United States. They needed a wide variety of reliable, job ready equipment to perform Villager’s construction projects quickly and efficiently. Then, there was the challenge of finding new homes for these specialized machines afterwards.
Rather than consume the efforts of the construction group, American Equipment was formed. Now, we assist not only Villager and contractors all over the world with their heavy equipment needs. We provide homeowners, orchards and small farms across the Finger Lakes with the equipment and service you need to get the job done.
We are committed to helping our communities grow stronger farms, more productive businesses and properties they can be proud of.
American Equipment has a modern, fully equipped parts and service department for heavy equipment, including a specialty CAT certified hydraulic hose shop. We are a Rental Alliance dealer for Milton CAT, offering daily, weekly and even hourly heavy equipment rentals to contractors. Our fleet consists of a comprehensive selection of CAT equipment, light plants, compressors, sweepers, trench boxes, skid steer attachments and more. You name it, we can get it for you!
We are a proud supplier of Geith, Okada and Bomag to name a few.
On the Ag and Turf side, we proudly offer the legendary Massey Ferguson and Kioti tractors from 22hp to 100hp along with Woods implements. Need something else? We work with over 25 implement manufacturers, just tell us what you’re looking for and we can make it happen.
We also carry Ferris, Toro and Cub Cadet lawn mowers and zero turns. Echo handheld power tools, Billy Goat, and more!
Buying equipment isn’t just about horsepower. It’s about having someone nearby who answers the phone, stocks the parts you need and cares about your success when the work can’t wait. Our genuine OEM parts and factory certified technicians provide the support you need for the life of your equipment.
Every acre has a story. We’re here to help you write yours.
